house shopping
We saw a house last weekend that I really liked. It’s pretty much the first one I’ve seen in a while that I was excited about:

The house costs $725K, so at the upper end, and possibly out of, our price range. 4 beds, 2.25 baths, 3100 sq. ft., built in 1980, 0.32 acres. It’s extremely private and is surrounded on several sides by green space. I just love that it’s surrounded by trees. It’s in a great neighborhood with stellar schools, and it’s centrally located. The only downside is that it’s rather dark. We saw it on a sunny day, and most of the rooms were still pretty dark due to all the tree-cover.
We’re definitely not in a position right now to lay down that much for a house, so there’s no real decision to be made. Nevertheless, it’s the best house we’ve seen in months.
