I’m feeling a bit depressed because N washed and ruined the sweater I knit for L. It was hand wash only. It’s not really her fault. If I even told her this, and i may not have, it was when I was telling her everything at the beginning. Regardless of the fault, though, I’m really sad about it. It took me forever to make it, I really liked it, and L hadn’t even fully grown into it.

focus on the good things. like you don’t have to do laundry anymore. 🙂
🙁
sorry lady that sucks
🙁
Maybe it is at least still newborn sized and could be saved for a potential future kiddo?
Unfortunately, the problem is that it was knit with lots of different colors (as you can see from the photo), and so in a few places the knit in or tied off pieces of yarn came loose, and there’s now a medium sized hole in the front of the sweater as well as some smaller holes, and lots of loose pieces of yarn hanging out. The entire thing is also fuzzy. The main problem, though, is the holes. Right now, I don’t really think it’s repairable, but I may take a closer look later when I’ve cooled off a bit.
